  • Driver's Education Age 14-Adult

    This class listing is informational only. Please register on the A+ Driving School website at www.APlusDrivingSchool.net We will be offering Driver’s Ed classes virtually for the foreseeable future. Students who miss the beginning of the 3pm class due to their bus ride can join the virtual class when they arrive home and then attend the beginning of that day's evening class to ensure they receive all necessary instruction. A+ staff closely monitor attendance and participation in the virtual classes. We are offering a few IN PERSON Driver's Ed Classes at the High School. The content is the same for both virtual and in-person options. This 30-hour program will be conducted by a certified instructor from A+ Driving School and will fulfill the state driver’s education requirement. The course will address the “how to” and “whys” of safe driving. The format of the class will be lecture and active discussion. After completion of the program, students will be able to set up and participate in behind the wheel sessions to meet the six hour state requirement. The fee of $369 is payable to A+ Driving School.     Build strength while you lengthen and stretch your body by aligning ligaments through this gentle yoga practice. Yoga postures are connected with fluid movements that synchronize with your breathing to help reduce stress and improve balance. This class is most appropriate for people with experience in yoga.     Energize your body while gaining flexibility and strength through the practice of yoga. Using yoga poses, you will stretch and tone muscles while strengthening joints and improving your balance.   • Yoga - Specifically for Adults Over 50

    This beginning yoga practice will combine gentle physical poses with mindfulness and breathing. Our focus will be on functional mobility, balance and working to release stress and stiffness. Studies show that yoga practice positively correlates with both physical and mental wellness as well as managing pain and inflammation, improving sleep quality and much more.     Adults of all ages are welcome to join Mindfulness Meditation - the ancient method of self-understanding and self-management. It is widely used for handling pain and stress, habit control and dealing with painful emotions and disturbing thoughts. It leads to deep self-knowledge and self-management skills that make life richer. The content of the practice is simply our own experiences of body and mind with no ideology. It is compatible with any religious and self-development practices you do. Please wear loose clothing for comfort. The teaching is cumulative, so attendance at all meetings is encouraged.
