Yoga - Balance & StrengthEnergize your body while gaining flexibility and strength through the practice of yoga. Using yoga poses, you will stretch and tone muscles while strengthening joints and improving your balance. This class is designed for people of all abilities. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Physical space in this class may be limited, but this class includes the option to participate via Zoom. Register for the virtual section if you prefer to participate virtually.
Driver's Education Age 14-AdultThis class listing is informational only. Please register on the A+ Driving School website at www.APlusDrivingSchool.net All Driver’s Ed classes will be held virtually for the foreseeable future. When FLAHS is on a hybrid model of instruction, students who miss the beginning of the 3pm class due to their bus ride can join the virtual class when they arrive home and then attend the beginning of that day's evening class to ensure they receive all necessary instruction. A+ staff closely monitor attendance and participation in the virtual classes. This 30-hour program will be conducted by a certified instructor from A+ Driving School and will fulfill the state driver’s education requirement. The course will address the “how to” and “whys” of safe driving. The format of the class will be lecture and active discussion. After completion of the program, students will be able to set up and participate in behind the wheel sessions to meet the six hour state requirement. The fee of $369 is payable to A+ Driving School.
