Softball League - Modified Slow-pitch Grades 1 & 2 Softball can build coordination, help to keep kids active and improve their skills while they have fun with their friends. Players in first & second grade will play slow-pitch and receive a set number of pitches from the coach to put the ball in play. If they don't put the ball in play, they will be given one additional hit from a tee. Home team will provide a parent volunteer umpire. For an example of game schedules from previous years, click here. Students will participate in one practice night a week for 8 weeks while also playing 6 games throughout the season. Once the game schedule begins, you will have one practice night and one game night each week. The first two weeks of the season will consist of practice only. Coaches may choose to practice two nights during the first two weeks. Students must be registered by their current grade, no exceptions.
