The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Half Day Preschool:Half Day Preschool is offered at six locations throughout the district for three, four and five-year-old children. Half Day Preschool is a School Readiness program that is funded by various sources: parent fees, state aid and levy funding. Little Rangers Preschools is a program for students to explore and learn through play-based curriculum and social-emotional teaching. 2024-2025
Registration Details: Once you complete the online registration in Eleyo you will be put on a "pending approval status" in the order the registration is received until Early Childhood Programs staff can review it, and enough registrations are received to run the class. Your credit card will not be charged for the registration fee until your child is confirmed in the program. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged.
Following your accepted contract, you will receive an email to set up a ParentVue account, where you will complete the registrations process, including attaching required forms.
