The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Learn to create a beautiful stained glass window from an accomplished artisan who has been working with glass since 1979. Choose from simple patterns, select the glass you want to use and then learn to score and break it, grind it down to match the pattern and assemble the pieces by bending a thin copper foil over the edges before soldering it all together. You will go home with an amazing creation you can hang in your window and the knowledge of how to do it again. All the tools and supplies will be provided. A supply fee of $30 will be collected the first night of class.
Please wear shirts with a crew neck and hard finish like denim or t-shirt material; chips of glass will stick in sweaters or fleece. Most of the glass chips will end up by your feet so wear shoes with a closed toe and a hard sole (no Crocs).
