The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Create a colorful bird bath to entice birds to your yard! Decorate a terra cotta saucer (the type which would normally be placed under a planter) with mosaic tiles to suit your taste. It can then be placed on a wrought iron stand, which can be purchased locally. The result is beautiful when completed. Wear clothes that can get dirty. A $25 supply fee is payable to the instructor at class.
Peggy Decker has taught Community Education classes for many years, starting with teaching people to make macrame chairs. Her present classes include Crochet Cord Rug, mosaic garden items, and holiday cookies. Along with classes in Forest Lake, Peggy teaches in Anoka, North Branch and St. Francis.
