The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at art that is fun and colorful? Alcohol ink is a painting medium with many different techniques. You will use a hairdryer to move the alcohol ink around until it dries leaving beautiful roses with abstract petals. Explore your creativity and add background, leaves or melt the colors. The best part of using alcohol ink is if you don’t like a part of your picture, you can wipe it off with isopropyl alcohol. You will make one 6” x 9” painting in your chosen colors. Given time, you can create a 2nd painting. There is a $15 supply fee payable to the instructor at class.
