  • Music Lessons - Orchestra Grades 5-12

    This is a great opportunity for students to improve their ability to play their orchestral instrument! Registration is open for violin, viola, cello and bass musicians. Whether students are starting their first year of orchestra or nearing high school graduation, these 30 minute lessons are ideal! The instructor will be provided with your contact information and will contact you to schedule your child's lessons. If you need to cancel and reschedule a lesson, please contact her by email at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice will not be rescheduled.
  • Forest Lake Ranger Marching Band Grades 7-12

    The Forest Lake Ranger Marching Band is back and we need you! We will rehearse, perform in area parades and have an end of season celebration. A band polo shirt is included in the registration fee, with a reduced fee available for those who have their shirt from previous years. Use section A to register for Marching Band and select if you need a shirt or if you have a shirt. Use section B to purchase additional shirts for yourself or family members for $31-$33 each. Shirts are available in men's and women's styles in sizes XS-XXXL. Registration deadline is May 28. Late registrants may not get their marching band polo shirt in time for the first parade.   • Sewing - Kid's Camp Ages 9-16

    Kids will learn how to use a sewing machine safely while having fun creating two projects for their bedroom. They will receive a Kids Can Sew workbook for both projects that includes the pattern.   • Healthcare Careers Camp Entering Grades 9-11

    Are you interested in learning about healthcare careers through fun, hands-on activities? The Forest Lake Area Healthcare Career Camp will be at Forest Lake Area High School where students will have the opportunity to utilize the medical training simulation manikins, equipment, and supplies to better understand the skills required in healthcare fields. This experience will be led by the high school health science teachers and members of the healthcare community. A set of scrubs are included in the registration fee. Students should bring a lunch on Monday. A pizza lunch will be provided on Tuesday. Registration deadline is July 1.
  • PrepStar Premium Grades 10-12

    Is the ACT test still relevant since many colleges have moved towards test optional? For most students, getting a strong ACT score is only going to benefit them for admissions and scholarship opportunities.   • Video Game Design: An IT Career Camp Entering Grades 8-11

    Have you ever wondered how video games work? Are you interested in designing and testing your own games? During this special camp, funded in part by a grant, you will work with multiple programming platforms to design three different video games: an endless runner game, a rapid tapping app game, and a questing game. You will also learn the basics of computer coding by using JavaScript platforms. You can choose to create your own assets, including audio and visual art, using digital creation tools. Everyone will be able to take home a final copy of their games to share with family and friends. Students should bring a lunch Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A pizza lunch will be provided on Thursday. Parents are invited to see student projects on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Registration Deadline is July 22.
