The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
FLAMS 7th Grade Experience: Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center (3-Day Trip)
Get ready for an unforgettable three-day journey to the spectacular Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. Located near the Boundary Waters, Wolf Ridge’s 2,000-acre campus is the ultimate outdoor classroom. This trip for FLAMS 7th grade students, combining hands-on science, outdoor adventure, and team-building in one of the most beautiful settings in Minnesota.

Accommodations & Meals: Students will stay in comfortable, modern dormitory lodges with private bathrooms and showers. Nutritious, kid-friendly meals are provided in the Fireplace Dining Room, featuring ingredients from the on-campus organic farm.
