Please note: This is the waiting list for Basketball League Grades 2-5. If a spot opens on your preferred team, you will be automatically enrolled into the correct course and added to a team. If there is a spot available on a different team, you will be contacted. If there is no spot available, you will not be contacted and you will be removed and refunded on January 26th. Basketball league will focus on improving basic skills such as dribbling with both hands, shooting, passing, game positions and offensive/defensive techniques. Register by what grade your student is entering in the fall and the elementary school your student attends. After our coaches meeting, coaches will notify you with schedule details the following week. Games will start as early as 5:30pm or as late as 7:40pm. In addition to the one game night, your student will have one practice a week. Practices are currently set to begin the week of January 5. Games are set to begin January 19. Step into the exciting world of pickleball with TGA (Teach. Grow. Achieve.) where the fun never stops! Pickleball combines the fast-paced thrill of tennis with the accessibility of a game suitable for all ages. Students will learn the fundamentals using top-quality equipment provided. Games, drills and matches will help students sharpen their pickleball skills and engage with academic concepts that bring the game's strategies to life. We emphasize sportsmanship, integrity and perseverance to create a nurturing environment where students will receive individualized attention tailored to their skill level and progress.

Fencing is a vigorous sport that develops stamina, quick reactions, speed, accuracy of movement and excellent coordination. Classes begin with warm-up exercises followed by games, footwork and drills in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. Through strategic bouting, you’ll learn fencing strategies that require problem solving skills. You'll also build confidence and develop your analytical skills by learning and practicing how to referee bouts. Fencers are fully protected with a mask, jacket and gloves. All equipment is provided. Please wear long athletic pants, t-shirt, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water.

Looking for some winter fun on a non-school day? Join us for a ski/snowboard trip to Wild Mountain! The registration fee includes lift ticket, ski equipment including helmet, beginner ski lesson, supervision and transportation to Wild Mountain. Ski runs are available for beginners to advanced skiers. Personal ski equipment will not be allowed on the bus. Bring a bag lunch or purchase food at the Wild Mountain snack bar. Please dress for the weather. A limited number of parent volunteers with current background checks are needed to assist with supervision. Please complete this form if you would like to volunteer. Prerequisite, passed Tots 2. Tots 3 skaters must master push and glide stroking (not marching) for 6 strides. They should be able to hold a dip for the length of their height with an appropriate amount of speed. Skaters must demonstrate a snow plow stop or create snow with their blade at a stand still. Forward swizzles should be complete starting with heels together and ending with toes together. Participants must be registered by their current age. If you have not participated in Community Education’s Skating Lessons in the past, you must register for Tots or Pre-Alpha. Skaters are evaluated regularly and when the Skating Director feels a skater has mastered all of the skills in their level, they will be moved up to the next level/class. Skaters must officially test out of each level and demonstrate skills in accordance with ISI national testing standards. Our skater to coach ratio is 12 to one per class.
