The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
This introduction to horses covers care, grooming, riding and much more using Spark Equestrian’s curriculum. Working in pairs, students will interact with a horse while practicing grooming, halter leading, handling the reins and basic commands - skills traditionally taught in a first riding lesson. Additional activities include crafts, games and making treats for the horses. Students should wear long pants, closed-toed shoes and layers for inside and outside activities. Please bring a water bottle and a nut free lunch.
