The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.

This 30-hour program will be conducted by a certified instructor from A+ Driving School and will fulfill the state driver’s education requirement. The course will address the “how to” and “whys” of safe driving. In person, fully online and Zoom teleconference learning options are available. After completion of the program, students will be able to set up and participate in behind the wheel sessions to meet the six hour state requirement. All fees are payable to A+ Driving School.
