The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Blueberries are such a carefree shrub that it's a wonder more people don't grow them. They are long-lived and generally free of disease and insect problems. Learn how to easily provide the acidic soil that blueberries love. You will also learn about site requirements, soil preparation, cultivars for our climate, buying plants, pruning and seasonal protection from birds, rabbits and winter temperatures.
This class will be taught as an interactive, online webinar through Zoom by a Master Gardener using University research-based information. Handouts and Zoom link will be sent by email prior to the class.
