Baseball League Second Grade - Coach Pitch Baseball can build coordination, help to keep kids active and improve their skills while they have fun with their friends. Coach pitch rules include students receiving a total of five strikes for each at bat. The home team will provide a parent volunteer umpire.

Students will participate in one practice night a week for eight weeks while also playing six games throughout the season. Once the game schedule begins, you will have one practice night and one game night each week. The first two weeks of the season will consist of practice only. Coaches may choose to practice two nights during the first two weeks.

Students must be registered by their current grade, no exceptions.

All participants will receive a game t-shirt if registered by the deadline. Please indicate your student’s t-shirt size when registering.

Volunteer coaches are needed! Open to all levels of experience, this program is dependent on volunteer coaches so please click here for more information on coaching.

Practices will be held at elementary schools within the Forest Lake area. When registering, please select which school your student would like to play for. We will do our best to schedule practices at or near the elementary school that your student is registered for. Volunteer coaches will notify you of your practice and game schedule prior to the start of the season. Games will be held at the Forest Lake/Forest View Elementary Athletic Fields.

Friend Requests - we will do our best to honor one friend request per player. Both players must have each other listed to be honored as well as the same school and same grade selected.

Important dates and times:

• Fee Increase: Registration fees will increase after the deadline of March 25 from $109 to $129.
• Coaches Meeting: TBD
• Practices are currently set to begin the week of April 28.
• Games are set to begin the week of May 12 on Thursdays - Times are TBD.
• Tentative Schedule is the week of April 28 - June 26.
