  • Flag Football League Entering Kindergarten

    Flag Football League will focus on skills such as passing, catching, ball handling and learning game positions. For an example of game schedules from previous years, click here.   • Archery - Intro Ages 8-15

    Bullseye! Are you looking to try something new or want to enhance your archery skills? Following the National Archery in the Schools Program curriculum, you will learn about all the parts of the bow and arrow, shooting techniques and enhance your skills as a shooter. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Shoot straight, have fun and remember - safety first! The registration fee will be refunded after the second session if children are not strong enough to achieve full draw of the bow.
  • Archery - Advanced Ages 10-15

    If you’ve completed the Archery - Intro class and learned about the parts of the bow and arrow, you can continue honing your techniques and skills as a shooter. We will continue to follow the National Archery in the Schools Program curriculum. Safety always comes first but having fun is required.
  • Track & Field Grades 3-6

    Students will have the opportunity to try out different track and field events and then choose the ones they enjoy the most to showcase their skills in a special track and field meet! The fee includes a t-shirt, coaching and the track meet. The meet will be held on Monday, May 20 from 4pm to approximately 7:30pm at the Forest Lake Area High School track. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the meet. No refunds will be given for weather related cancellations. No rain date is available. Registration by 3:30pm on the second day of class (Wednesday, May 1) is required in order to receive a t-shirt. *4660-SP24G is for St. Peter's and practices will be held at Forest Lake Elementary.
  • Track & Field Decathlon Ages 6-10

    Javelin, discus, shot put, long jump, relay race, hurdles and much more. This high-octane decathlon class is designed for beginners and experienced track and field athletes. Safety is our first priority. We use foam padded javelins and hurdles as well as lightweight safety shot put and discus materials. Get pumped and primed to get your face on the next Wheaties® box.
  • Little Kickers Soccer Ages 3-8

    Please note: This is the waiting list for Little Kickers Ages 3-8. If there is a spot on your student's preferred team, they will be automatically enrolled. If there is a spot on a different team, you will be contacted. If there is no spot available, you will be refunded on June 1. If you would like to be removed and refunded before June 1, please contact Katie Suloff at Ksuloff@flaschools.org of 651-982-8392. The waiting list is monitored daily. Little Kickers is a great introduction to soccer. This fun training program for boys and girls will work on individual skills and small team play. Students must be registered by their current age as of Jun 1. (Must be 3 years of age by Jun 1) No exceptions. Volunteer coaches are needed!   • Little Rangers Boys Basketball Camp Entering Grades 1-4

    Come hoop it up with the Rangers this summer! The Rangers varsity boys basketball coaching staff and players will teach skills, hold contests and run age-appropriate league play. All participants will receive a t-shirt if registered by the deadline, so please indicate size when registering. Registration deadline is June 6.   • Girls Basketball Camp Entering Grades 2-10

    This camp will provide the opportunity to develop individual basketball fundamentals from the Forest Lake Area High School Girls Basketball coaches and players. Students will also participate in team play and live game situations (based on age-level and ability) and have the opportunity to improve their basketball knowledge and court sense. The camp will teach fundamentals and enhance skill development through a series of instructional situations. All participants will receive a t-shirt if registered by the deadline, so please indicate size when registering. Registration deadline is June 6.   • Rangers Multi-Sports Camp Ages 6-12

    This multi-sport camp is an introduction to a variety of sports as well as other fun yard games throughout the week including but not limited to flag football, basketball, baseball and soccer. Days are divided into focused sport play, free play, lunch/break time and multi-sport games. The camp is held at the Forest Lake Area Middle School and led by Forest Lake Area Schools Staff as well as college student athletes that are Forest Lake and other local high school Alumni. Each week there will be different activities and games taking place so students can sign up for multiple sessions and have a new experience each week! Participants should wear sport appropriate clothing and shoes, bring two nut/peanut free snacks, sunscreen and a bottle of water every day. Students that are attending all day will need to have a packed lunch as well as the above mentioned snacks.

    Horsin' Around Ages 8-15

    Shadow Creek Stables, Inc. is offering a comprehensive riding program designed specifically for beginning riders. The class will include ground work/theory and riding. Participants must wear long pants and hard-soled boots. Enrollment is very limited, so register early!
  • Future Rangers Gymnastics Camp Entering Grades 1-6

    At Future Rangers Gymnastics Camp, girls and boys will have an exciting and fun-filled morning including gymnastics instruction, group exercises and games. Led by the Forest Lake Area High School Gymnastics Team coaches and athletes, students will work on their gymnastics skills (grouped by ability), make new friends and have lots of fun! All participants will receive a t-shirt if registered by the deadline, so please indicate size when registering. Students should wear leotard or appropriate athletic clothing (t-shirt and shorts or tank top and shorts), shoes, bring two nut/peanut free snacks and a bottle of water every day. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch for the first and last 15 minutes of the session, but not the entire class time.

    Track & Field Camp Grades 1-4

    Students will have the opportunity for skills training and practice in several areas including sprinting, throwing, relay running, jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of a variety of physical activities, drills and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Bring tennis shoes, a nut-free snack, sunscreen and a bottle of water every day.
  • Cheer Camp Grades 1-4

    Campers will learn several cheers with focus on body control, jumping and proper hand movements in this introduction to cheerleading. Emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship, teamwork and a positive attitude! This camp also includes fun games which focus on teamwork and competitiveness and poms that the participants will keep. Campers should bring a water bottle and snack and wear sunscreen, athletic clothing and shoes.

    Tennis Clinic Intermediate/Advanced Age 5-Entering Grade 6

    Intermediate/Advanced participants should already be familiar with the proper form for all of the strokes. The class will perform a review of the form for all the strokes but quickly move to rally play. It is the goal of this class to prepare students to actually play a game of tennis on a full court. Students not performing at an intermediate/advanced level may be asked to move down to the beginner level. Intermediate/Orange : Age 5 - Grade 6 with 2-3 years of tennis lessons. Register for 1646-SU24A. Advanced/Green : Age 5 - Grade 6 with 3 or more years of tennis lessons. Register for 1646-SU24B.     Tennis Clinic Entering Grades 7-12

    Similar to our Competitive Tennis Camp, this 8-week camp will continue to work on all aspects of the game from technical to tactical. Each day will consist of grips, footwork, offense/defense, singles/doubles strategy and sportsmanship, proper technique and grips for a variety of strokes like groundstrokes (underspin/topspin), volleys, lobs, overheads, approach shots, serves, returns, blocks and drop shots. Coaches will use a mix of closed and open drills, allowing for students to improve strokes and apply what they’ve learned through play. Games, competitive play, and skits round out this camp to ensure it’s a fun time for all! Participants should wear sport appropriate clothing and shoes, bring two nut/peanut free snacks, sunscreen and a bottle of water every day. This clinic will have two time options based of previous tennis experience and the high school tennis programs participation.
