  • Music Lessons - Band Grades 7-12

    This is a great time to improve your ability on your band instrument! Registration is open for woodwind, brass and percussion musicians with Mr. Jake Matheson. Whether you are in your first year of band or starting to prepare for all-state band, these lessons are just for you! Register now and Mr. Matheson will contact you to reserve dates and times.
  • 6th Grade Ranger Band

    The 6th Grade Ranger Band is a new opportunity open to all 6th grade band students. Under the direction of Mr. Jake Matheson and Mr. Kyle Pagel the band will focus on learning skills, techniques and concepts above and beyond what is covered during the school day. The band will hold Saturday morning rehearsals and perform a selection of exciting music as the grand finale of the May 3rd Elementary Band Concert held in the Forest Lake Area High School Auditorium.
  • MN Firearm Safety Ages 11 & Up

    Learn the basics of firearm safety and receive your certification from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. A parent or guardian must attend the beginning of the first session and is also required to come to the shooting range for the field test at the Forest Lake Sportsmen's Club on February 17. Times will be assigned between 9-11:30am. Students must attend all sessions and pass both a written exam and the practical field test to receive certification. Expect homework each day including reading. Students will receive a student manual and should bring a pen/pencil, manual and water if desired to each session. No other beverages are allowed. Do not bring firearms or ammunition to any session or to the field test. Upon completion, the DNR requires an additional $7.50 fee to be paid online in order to receive certification. Forest Lake Sportsmens Club is located at 4648 - 240th St, Forest Lake.

    The ACT ® test has become more important than ever for college admissions and scholarships. This offering will give students the opportunity to take a fully proctored ACT test to get a baseline score. Students will get a detailed score report only a few days after taking the test! *These test results cannot be used to send to colleges.

  • Flight Club Ages 10-14

    Learn basic flying techniques and get hands-on experience flying a drone/quadcopter! Students will learn about safety, FAA and local regulation and maintenance as well as fly through obstacles to challenge themselves with controlling and maneuvering the drone. The drones/quadcopters and transmitters will be supplied for each student for use during class. At the conclusion of the class, participants will receive an official certificate of completion from Midwest Drone Racing!  Please bring a bag lunch.

    Let the battles begin with completely new builds! Designed by the experts at MIT, Lego Wedo Robotics’ unique system teaches students about simple machines, engineering, programming and so much more. Students will construct a Catapult, Ninja Star, Tank, Battle Axe, Crossbow, Battering Ram, Fighter Plane and more!
  • PrepStar Blast Grades 10-12

    The ACT® test is more important than ever for college admissions and scholarship money. You will be introduced to the ACT test format, receive content specific strategies for each of the four test sections and practice the strategies on retired ACT tests. You will also be given the opportunity to score a full length practice ACT test with our online scoring system which gives you immediate feedback and scoring results similar to those of the ACT. Refunds will only be given for cancelations made prior to the first day of class.
  • Laser Tag Grades 6-9

    Join this weekly Laser Tag League to have fun while competing against your friends in this unique league! Each week we’ll incorporate exciting and fun dynamics that will keep the games interesting and strategy provoking. During your break between laser tag, get 30 minutes of unlimited arcade play on any of the 26 games in the arcade room (Included with cost!). Pizza and pop will be provided for dinner. Splitrocks is located at 5063 273rd Street, Wyoming.
  • Music Lessons - Piano Grades 7-12

    Piano lessons will help you to develop basic piano playing skills or expand on your existing skills. One-on-one instruction will include time both on and off the keyboard. Work to master the techniques of playing piano and learning to play pieces of music. Instruction on musical notation and theory will also be included.
