LEGO® Robotics Camp Ages 9-13
Students will work together to build a LEGO® Mindstorm EV3 Robot. Then they will learn the EV3 programming interface to make the robot move and complete certain tasks. By combining the blocks, we will explore the magic of bringing the robot to life! We will focus on basic movement and using sensors. Students will be presented with a number of challenges for the robot to accomplish. -
Minecraft Modding: Crazy Armor Ages 7-11
Learn to mod Minecraft and customize your gaming experience. We will create crazy new armor, items, tools and more! Students will be introduced to beginner coding concepts and learn how to make custom Minecraft items and mods. Students should be comfortable with keyboarding, reading and playing Minecraft! At the end of the class, take home your mods to share with family and friends. We will be using the PC/Java Edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your creations on the last day. -
3D Printing and CAD Ages 6-10
We’ll take students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. They will design 3D objects using TinkerCAD and use the 3D slicing program Cura to bring their creations to life. From industrial design and manufacturing to software and hardware engineering, the 3D printing industry is booming! This is an excellent introduction to 3D printing and is ideal for students who like to draw, design, imagine and see their creations come to life. Cost of materials and printing is included. -
Chess Summer Camp Ages 6-12
All levels are welcome. The {YEL!} Teach It! Practice It! Play It! classroom method keeps chess students progressing with 60+ chess lessons and thousands of puzzles, as well as guided games and an end-of-week in-class tournament. Class fee includes ChessKid.com membership for the session ($49 annual value). -

Multiplayer Minecraft: World Builder Ages 6-11
Unleash your creativity and work collaboratively to create a world in four unique, themed quadrants. Build different biomes or base a section on your favorite movie or video game. Meld your quadrants together with bridges and separate them with moats of water, lava or even the void! Students will get a copy of the world map to take home and expand on. We will be using the PC/Java Edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your game on the last day. -
Video Production for YouTube Ages 9-12
Learn how to create YouTube content! Shoot videos, edit sound and create an online presence with YouTube. Learn the tricks that pro filmmakers use for better shots, lighting, sounds and learn to use our film editing software. Students can then choose to work on a group unboxing or product review. Write a script, edit your video, add transitions and insert a soundtrack and share your finished video with the world. Bring a USB drive (at least 8GB) to save your video on the last day. -
Destination Mars: Rocketry Ages 7-11
Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air - then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Parents will be asked to contribute two empty 2 liter soda bottles for two different experiments. All other materials are included.
