Pickleball Lessons - Intermediate/Advanced
It’s time to improve your pickleball game. Learn proper techniques for three different serves, cross court attack dinks and the all-important third shot (drop). Learn how to play against "bangers" and the secrets of winning doubles strategies. Open to all players who know how to keep score, hit a forehand and backhand shot and understand the basis of the dink shot. Participants will drill and play to achieve maximum improvement. PPR Coach and multi-Gold Medalist, Michael Lammer, will instruct this fun filled class. Wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water. Michael will have demo paddles available for use. -
Pickleball Lessons - Beginner
Join the fastest growing sport in America by learning to play pickleball. This beginner class is designed as a drill and play format. You will learn how to keep score, serve and return the serve along with hitting forehand, backhand, dinking, lobbing and court strategies. This course is taught with passion and humor by PPR Coach and multi-Gold Medalist, Michael Lammer. Wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water. You do not need to purchase a paddle before class, as Michael will bring a variety of demo paddles for you to try. -
Basketball - Adult Co-ed
PLEASE NOTE: No basketball on Aug 9 due to Primary Elections. Aug 16 will be held at the Middle School - directly east of the High School. Recreational basketball is a great workout and a good time for both new and returning players. Players organize full court or cross court pick-up games and often play shirts and skins. A yellow or gold t-shirt can be worn as an alternative to skins. Online registration closes at 4pm each Tuesday. We request that players bring their own ball. If you drop in - please bring correct change. -

Basketball League - Adult 3x3
Grab your basketball and group of friends and register now for this fun and competitive co-ed 3x3 basketball league! Teams of all skill levels are encouraged to register and will compete for the Community Education Adult 3x3 Basketball Championship. Win/loss records will be kept for standings and playoff seeding. The league will conclude with playoffs held the final two weeks of the session. Playoff format will be determined by the number of teams registered. Teams will have a minimum of 3 players with a maximum of 6 on the roster and must have a minimum of 2 players in order to start the game. Pickleball - Advanced Skills Clinic
Hone your pickleball skills this summer at this clinic designed to teach 3.0-4.0+ pickleball players advanced skills. Clinic will focus on: why dinkers can beat bangers, how the drop shot improves your game, using a cut or top spin return, learning three spin serves, and the punch shot for winners; as well as knowing when to lob, place shots down the middle, and when to be patient or attack during the dink game. Clinic includes active participation through drills and live play breakdown, followed by skill ratings in accordance with USA Pickleball Association standards. Michael and Patrick Lammer are USAPA Ambassadors and Gold Medalists. Wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water. Fenway Fields Pickleball Courts are located at 5530 206th St N, Forest Lake. -
Volleyball League - Adult Co-ed
Register now for this fun, competitive, co-ed league for adults! Teams will play with six players on the court (up to three of whom can be men) and will compete for the Community Education Adult Volleyball League Championship! Although this league is fairly competitive, recreational teams are welcome. The team that wins the championship will receive free team registration for the next season. Each team should supply their own volleyball. Win/loss record will be tracked for standings and playoff seeding. The season will end with two weeks of playoffs and the playoff format will be determined by the number of teams. Early or late game preference will be assigned according to registration date.
