PopularNorthern Formation Synchro Level 1 Age 12 & underAquatics: Rangers Aquatics/Synchro/DivingPrerequisite: Must be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle. Participants will learn the basics of synchronized swimming such as figures and routines. Figures are specific body movements done in the water individually and then judged (very similar to diving). Routines are performances choreographed to music. Participants will learn and practice solo, duet and team formations as well as learn at least one routine. Goggles, swim cap and a nose clip are required. Participants will also have an optional opportunity to compete at the local level. If the participant should choose to compete at the local level, more information will be provided at the first session and an additional annual fee of $200 is payable to the Northern Formation Synchro Club. Any new swimmers who join after the Fall session will be learning skills but will be unable to compete due to competition deadlines; these participants will be preparing for next year's competitions.Winter 2023 - Jan-Apr

If the participant should choose to compete at the local level, more information will be provided at the first session and an additional annual fee of $200 is payable to the Northern Formation Synchro Club. Rangers Aquatics - Age 8 & upAquatics: Rangers Aquatics/Synchro/DivingPrerequisite: Participants must be able to swim 25 continuous yards of front crawl and backstroke or passed Level 4. The purpose of this swimming program is to train the athlete (both novice & advanced) to swim efficiently and fast. In addition, the coaching staff will encourage physical fitness, motivation, foster self-discipline, reinforce self-esteem, build self-confidence and provide an environment where the athlete can achieve their highest potential through a challenging and fun atmosphere. The workouts will be adjusted to benefit all swimming abilities.Winter 2023 - Jan-Apr
