    2nd Grade Basketball will focus on entry level skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Students will be introduced to gameplay rules and techniques during this recreation league!   • Volleyball League Grades 3-5 WAITING LIST

    Please note: This is the waiting list for Volleyball League Grades 3-5. If a spot opens on your preferred team, you will be automatically enrolled into the correct course and added to a team. If there is a spot available on a different team, you will be contacted. If there is no spot available, you will not be contacted and you will be removed and refunded on October 27. If you would like to be removed and refunded before October 27, please contact our office. Volleyball league will focus on the basic skills of passing, setting, serving and other offensive/defensive techniques. Games will start between 6:00pm and 7:15pm. In addition to the one game night, your student will have one practice a week. Practice begins the week of October 6. Volunteer coaches are needed for each team. If you are interested in being a volunteer coach, please indicate this when registering.   • Girls on the Run Grades 3-5

    Girls are invited to join us as we move our bodies, gain confidence, build relationships and prepare to run a non-competitive 5k with Girls on the Run participants from across the State this fall. No experience necessary - girls can run, walk, skip, roll or push - just as long as they are moving forward. Each practice begins with a healthy snack (provided) followed by the topic of the day such as choosing friends or communicating emotions. After running, there is time to stretch, cool down and celebrate our accomplishments. Girls are encouraged to focus on moving forward at their own “happy pace.” Every participant will be invited to run in the Girls on the Run 5k at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on Sat, Nov 8.   • Ranger Space Camp Informational Meeting - Parent & Child Grades 4-8

    Is your child ready to suit up for the FLAS mission to take Rangers to Space Camp? Parents and children (Grades 4-8 in fall 2025) are invited to learn what it will take for kids to spend a week at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama in the spring of 2026! This informational meeting will cover the application process, fees, fundraising and expectations for children and parents as we prepare for Space Camp. During the 2025-2026 school year, students who are selected to join the mission will work as a team and confront mission scenarios that require dynamic problem solving and critical thinking — 21st century learning skills required in the workplace. Throughout the week at Space Camp, students are immersed in astronaut training techniques using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program. Our motto is: We all go or no one goes. We will fundraise as a group to ensure that every student who is accepted into the program can go to Space Camp regardless of their families financial situation. Please register with your child's information. Parent name(s) will be requested during the registration process.

  • Fencing Ages 6-15

    Fencing is a vigorous sport that develops stamina, quick reactions, speed, accuracy of movement and excellent coordination. Classes begin with warm-up exercises followed by games, footwork and drills in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. Through strategic bouting, you’ll learn fencing strategies that require problem solving skills. You'll also build confidence and develop your analytical skills by learning and practicing how to referee bouts. Fencers are fully protected with a mask, jacket and gloves. All equipment is provided. Please wear long athletic pants, t-shirt, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water.

  • Tae Kwon Do Ages 6-15

    This ancient Korean martial art began over a thousand years ago and became the world's most popular martial art and form of self-defense. Tae Kwon Do is great physical exercise involving the use of your mind, body and spirit while nationally certified instructors teach self control, courtesy, perseverance and integrity. Parents report that their children become more focused in school, increase their self-confidence and improve their social relationships. It is an excellent activity no matter what your level of athletic ability. Classes will be taught by Jr. Grand Master Eddie Gibson and Sr. Master Theresa Gibson.

    Calling new and returning students! The Engineering For Kids Jr. STEM Club introduces students to a new, hands-on lesson every week from various engineering disciplines. Students focus on developing skills such as problem solving, critical thinking and peer collaboration. These life skills provide students with the confidence to approach challenges in their lives and realize that they can succeed in almost anything! Engineering for Kids has a library of 300+ individual lessons which continues to grow so we never have to repeat lessons.
