    2nd Grade Basketball will focus on entry level skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Students will be introduced to gameplay rules and techniques during this recreation league!   • Volleyball League Grades 3-6

    Please note: This is the waiting list for Volleyball League Grades 3-6. If a spot opens on your preferred team, you will be automatically enrolled into the correct course and added to a team. If there is a spot available on a different team, you will be contacted. If there is no spot available, you will not be contacted and you will be removed and refunded on October 24. If you would like to be removed and refunded before October 24, please contact our office. Volleyball league will focus on the basic skills of passing, setting, serving and other offensive/defensive techniques. Games will start as early as 6pm and as late as 7:15pm. In addition to the one game night, your student will have one practice a week. Practice begins the week of October 7. Volunteer coaches are needed for each team. If you are interested in being a volunteer coach, please indicate this when registering. All participants will receive a t-shirt if registered by the deadline, so please indicate size when registering. We will do our best to provide the correct size t-shirt for those that register after the deadline.   • Ranger Singers Grades 3-6

    Hey kids! Are you ready for more singing?! Join Ranger Singers and keep your voice and heart warm by singing with friends. We will move and groove to new songs while improving everyone's singing skills. Ranger Singers will perform at the Big Sing on November 4 at 7pm.
  • Fencing Ages 6-15

    Fencing is a vigorous sport that develops stamina, quick reactions, speed, accuracy of movement and excellent coordination. Classes begin with warm-up exercises followed by games, footwork and drills in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. Through strategic bouting, you’ll learn fencing strategies that require problem solving skills. You'll also build confidence and develop your analytical skills by learning and practicing how to referee bouts. Fencers are fully protected with a mask, jacket and gloves. All equipment is provided. Please wear long athletic pants, t-shirt, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water.

    Bullseye! Are you looking to try something new or want to enhance your archery skills? Following the National Archery in the Schools Program curriculum, you will learn about all the parts of the bow and arrow, shooting techniques and enhance your skills as a shooter. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Shoot straight, have fun and remember - safety first! The registration fee will be refunded after the second session if children are not strong enough to achieve full draw of the bow.
  • FIRST® LEGO® League Robotics Competition Ages 8-14

    In FIRST® LEGO® League, students will be immersed in a real-world science and technology challenge as they prepare for competition! Teams will strategize, design, program and test an autonomous robot to perform a series of missions based on an annual theme. Research a real-world problem, come up with a solution and then participate in a regional tournament. Adult volunteer assistant coaches needed. No experience necessary. Tournament is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, January 26th. Tournament fees are included in registration. Parents must provide transportation to the tournament.

    Step into the exciting world of pickleball with TGA (Teach. Grow. Achieve.) where the fun never stops! Pickleball combines the fast-paced thrill of tennis with the accessibility of a game suitable for all ages. Students will learn the fundamentals using top-quality equipment provided. Games, drills and matches will help students sharpen their pickleball skills and engage with academic concepts that bring the game's strategies to life. We emphasize sportsmanship, integrity and perseverance to create a nurturing environment where students will receive individualized attention tailored to their skill level and progress.
  • Cheerleading - Intro Grades 1-6

    Does your child have lots of energy? Do they like performing and entertaining others? Cheerleading might be a great sport for them! In this intro to cheerleading, kids learn all the basic skills that it takes to be a cheerleader including how to tumble, stunt and lead a crowd. After mastering the basics, we will put the skills together into a short routine that will be performed for family and friends. We might also get to perform at a Forest Lake Area School sporting event! A t-shirt and pompoms are included.     Children will learn ballet movements and creative expression for beginners. The emphasis is on basic locomotor development, rhythm and creative expression. Our dancers learn dance in a playful, imaginative and non-competitive environment.

    Intro to Wrestling Age 4-Grade 6

    Would you like to learn about wrestling? Here’s your chance! Intro to Wrestling is centered around the inexperienced wrestler. Students will spend part of the time in group drills then split into age/weight appropriate groups for matches. Learn technique, meet new friends and have fun!   • Warrior Within - Girls Empowerment Grades 1-6

    We are all seeking connection, a sense of belonging and to feel accepted in a world where at times we feel alone and afraid. Warriors will be guided on a journey of self-love, self-care and self-acceptance through dance, song, empowering books, group discussions, activities and crafts. The positive growth mindset approach will help build and maintain life’s biggest challenges such as confidence, courage, friendships, relationships and conflict.     Kids will join their friends from school for a night of fun and games! Whether they're on the basketball court, at the volleyball nets or dancing along to music provided by a DJ, they’ll be having an amazing time. Pizza, water and snacks will be available for purchase ($2 each). Our pool has a limited capacity. If your child would like to swim during Youth Night, please register them for the "P" sections that say (Pool Included) which includes 30 minutes in the pool. Swim times will be assigned at check-in the night of the event. We recommend registering for this event as space is limited and pool times will fill up. If registering to swim, bring a swimsuit and towel. Students that drop in on the night of the event may not be able to swim due to limited pool capacity.     Calling new and returning students! The Engineering For Kids Jr. STEM Club introduces students to a new, hands-on lesson every week from various engineering disciplines. Students focus on developing skills such as problem solving, critical thinking and peer collaboration. These life skills provide students with the confidence to approach challenges in their lives and realize that they can succeed in almost anything! Engineering for Kids has a library of 300+ individual lessons which continues to grow so we never have to repeat lessons.
