  • Rangers Supporting Rangers School Supply Backpack Program

    The Rangers Supporting Rangers School Supply Backpack Program assists families currently enrolled in the Forest Lake Area School district who have a financial need by providing backpacks and school supplies to their students. Rangers Supporting Rangers is currently accepting registrations from families with student(s) attending Forest Lake Area Schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Backpacks and supplies will be available at the school your student attends in August. Please watch for an email from your school for pickup/distribution information. This program is entirely funded by grants and private donations.     Please note: This is the waiting list for Volleyball League Grades 3-6. If a spot opens on your preferred team, you will be automatically enrolled into the correct course and added to a team. If there is a spot available on a different team, you will be contacted. If there is no spot available, you will not be contacted and you will be removed and refunded on October 24. If you would like to be removed and refunded before October 24, please contact our office.     Community Education has partnered with the Forest Lake Hockey Association in running Junior Rangers (Intro to Hockey) Registration is now available for the 2024-25 Junior Rangers Season and can be done so at: https://www.flhockey.org/juniorrangers Please note registering on this site is not a registration for Junior Rangers.   • Self-Defense Ages 4-17

    Every day 160,000 children miss school out of fear of being intimidated by a bully or by a threatening individual in their neighborhood. This self-defense class will empower youth ages four - 17 with non-threatening self-defense techniques and skills to protect them from those who would do harm and from other threatening situations. Students in this class are eligible, if they desire, to earn a certified Yellow Belt rank at the conclusion of the ten week session. Master Jeff Wood, 5th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, is the head instructor of this class. This summer session will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with an indoor space as a back up.   • Cheer Camp Grades 1-4

    Campers will learn several cheers with focus on body control, jumping and proper hand movements in this introduction to cheerleading. Emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship, teamwork and a positive attitude! This camp also includes fun games which focus on teamwork and competitiveness and poms that the participants will keep. Campers should bring a water bottle and snack and wear sunscreen, athletic clothing and shoes.
  • Let's Draw, Paint and Sculpt Ages 5-12

    Your child will love experimenting with many different materials while learning new techniques. We’ll learn to draw a wacky llama and sculpt and paint a box full of delicious-looking donuts. We’ll even create one of our most popular projects—a snow globe! Parents, you’ll need to make space on the fridge and the mantle for these amazing works of art! Bring a beverage and a nut-free snack.
