  • Baseball/Softball League Age 4 - Grade 6 WAITING LIST

    Please note: This is the WAITING LIST for baseball, t-ball and softball. Once registered, if there is a spot available on your preferred team, you will be automatically enrolled and moved to the that school/team - you will receive a confirmation email. If there is a spot available on a different team for your student's grade/age, you will be contacted. If there is no spot available, you will be removed from the waiting list and refunded on May 11th. Baseball schedule includes one practice night AND one game night per week. T-Ball/Softball: Age 4 through Kindergarten. Games on Tuesdays. 1st Grade: Modified Coach Pitch. Set number of pitches by the coach to put the ball in play, if that pitch amount is exceeded, there will be an opportunity to put the ball in play off of a tee. Games on Thursdays. 2nd Grade: Set number of pitches by the coach to put the ball in play. Games on Thursdays. 1st/2nd Grade Softball: Games on Thursdays 3rd/4th Grade: Player pitch, age appropriate rules will be followed. Games on Thursdays. 5th/6th Grade: Player pitch, age appropriate rules will be followed. Games on Tuesdays. We monitor our numbers daily and will accept as many participants as possible. We add students in order of registration and your child must be on the waiting list before placing them onto a team. You will be contacted if there is a spot open on any team within your child's age/grade. Please note, this may not be the team you have selected.     Flag Football League will focus on skills such as passing, catching, ball handling and learning game positions. In addition to the game nights, a weekly practice will be planned and communicated by the volunteer coach after the coaches meeting. Practices can be held on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Games will be played on Tuesdays, location and time TBD. For an example of previous game schedule, click here. Students must be registered by their current grade, no exceptions. All participants will receive a game t-shirt if registered by the deadline. Please indicate your student’s t-shirt size when registering. Volunteer coaches are needed! Open to all levels of experience. This program is dependent on volunteer coaches. Please click here for more information on coaching. Volunteer coaches for Community Education athletic leagues will receive a refund of 50% off of the early registration fee for one child at the end of the season after all equipment has been turned in.     The Rangers Supporting Rangers School Supply Backpack Program assists families currently enrolled in the Forest Lake Area School district who have a financial need by providing backpacks with school supplies to their students. Rangers Supporting Rangers is currently accepting registrations from families with student(s) that are currently enrolled in Forest Lake Area Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. Backpacks with supplies will be available at the school's Open House in August. This program is entirely funded by grants and private donations.   • Spanish Club Grades 1-5

    Spanish Club is a course that builds confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing Spanish through meaningful communication. Students learn by using Spanish with poetry, role-play scenes, games and partner activities that make language fun and memorable. The course emphasizes practical vocabulary, simple sentence structures and situations. Students are encouraged to try, make mistakes and grow. Through creativity, movement, games, and communication, students will gain confidence in using Spanish.
  • Basketball - March Madness Grades K-3

    March Madness is here! Take your skills to the next level in this fun, fast-paced session of March Madness Basketball. Fundamentals and fun are in store. Emphasis is placed on developing the basic skills of dribbling, shooting, passing, sportsmanship and teamwork. We use engaging and dynamic games to support students’ growth including our unique three-on-three style game. This is a high-octane class with an inclusive atmosphere.
  • FLHA Jr Rangers Spring Hockey | Ages 4-8

    Come give hockey a try—we’d love to see you at the rink! This introductory program is perfect for kids who are brand new to skating or hockey. It combines Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey instruction in a fun, low-pressure environment. No prior skating experience is needed—this is the typical starting level for all new players. Registration fee is available for view online through FLHA Jr Rangers Spring Hockey. Session Dates: March 16 – April 30, 2026 1625-IW26D: Monday & Wednesday | 5:30 - 6:15pm 1625-IW26E: Tuesday & Thursday | 5:30 - 6:15pm Program Highlights • Designed for beginners with no skating or hockey experience • A fun and casual opportunity to try hockey without a large commitment • Open to boys and girls ages 4-8 in the Forest Lake area Starter Equipment Option A limited supply of beginner equipment sets are available for $50.   • Fencing Ages 6-15

    Fencing is a vigorous sport that develops stamina, quick reactions, speed, accuracy of movement and excellent coordination. Classes begin with warm-up exercises followed by games, footwork and drills in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. Through strategic bouting, you’ll learn fencing strategies that require problem solving skills. You'll also build confidence and develop your analytical skills by learning and practicing how to referee bouts. Fencers are fully protected with a mask, jacket and gloves. All equipment is provided. Please wear long athletic pants, t-shirt, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water.

    Get ready for a Glow-Tastic adventure that will light up your child’s imagination—literally! Every project will glow-in-the-dark, making it as fun in the dark as it is in the light. Using an exciting mix of clay, paint and other luminescent materials, kids will have a blast as they create dazzling masterpieces they’ll be proud to show off. Let’s explore creativity in a new way—because art that glows is cooler!
  • Golf Lessons Grades 1-5

    Kids build skills in full swing, chipping and putting while learning confidence, sportsmanship and golf etiquette. We give kids a fun, safe space to learn the game with an 8:1 student-to-coach ratio for plenty of hands-on instruction. All equipment is provided and every participant receives a hat, handbook and other fun prizes.
  • Archery - Intro Grades K-5

    Bullseye! Are you looking to try something new or want to enhance your archery skills? Following the National Archery in the Schools Program curriculum, you will learn about all the parts of the bow and arrow, shooting techniques and enhance your skills as a shooter. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Shoot straight, have fun and remember - safety first! The registration fee will be refunded after the second session if children are not strong enough to achieve full draw of the bow.
  • Art G.O.A.T.s Grades K-5

    Learn about legendary artist Edward Hopper while we recreate one of his masterpieces. Learning about warm colors and cool colors will be the focus as our artists draw a detailed exterior of a house. If your children are baseball fans, they will love our baseball lesson where they can draw their favorite part of the game. Finally, we’ll take an imaginary trip to Japan and learn about the artistry of the kimono.
  • Tae Kwon Do Ages 6-15

    This ancient Korean martial art began over a thousand years ago and became the world's most popular martial art and form of self-defense. Tae Kwon Do is great physical exercise involving the use of your mind, body and spirit while nationally certified instructors teach self control, courtesy, perseverance and integrity. Parents report that their children become more focused in school, increase their self-confidence and improve their social relationships. It is an excellent activity no matter what your level of athletic ability. Classes will be taught by Jr. Grand Master Eddie Gibson and Sr. Master Theresa Gibson.
  • Level 1 Swim Lessons - Age 6 & up

    The objectives of Level 1 are to learn basic water safety skills and to help participants feel comfortable in the water. The skills being taught are: breath holding, floating and kicking without support. Students under six years old must have a recommendation from swim instructor.
  • Level 2 Swim Lessons - Age 6 & up

    Prerequisite: Level 1 or float on front and back unsupported for ten seconds and front kick ten yards unsupported. Participants further develop arm and leg actions on the front and back and begin deep water swimming.
  • Level 3 Swim Lessons - Age 6 & up

    Prerequisite: Level 2 or be able to jump into the deep end, swim beginner stroke ten yards, turn over and swim on back for ten yards Level 3 builds on previously learned skills by introducing the front and back crawl and the elementary backstroke kick. Treading water and diving are also covered.

    Level 4 Swim Lessons - Age 6 & up

    Prerequisite: Level 3 or be able to swim a front crawl in good form with rotary breathing for 15 yards In Level 4, participants improve on their skills and increase their endurance with the front and back crawl for greater distances and the entire elementary backstroke is taught. Goggles are highly recommended.
  • Level 6 Swim Lessons - Age 6 & up

    Prerequisite: Level 5 The objectives of Level 6 are to refine strokes (front and back crawl, elementary backstroke and breaststroke) so participants swim them with more ease, efficiency and power. The sidestroke will be introduced. Water safety skills such as surface dives, retrieving a brick from a depth of nine feet and treading water are also taught in this course. Goggles are highly recommended.
  • Level 7 Swim Lessons - Age 6 & up

    Prerequisite: Level 6 The objectives of Level 7 are to refine the strokes (front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke and sidestroke) so participants swim these strokes with efficiency and power over greater distances. This will be achieved through workouts, turns, use of pace clocks, pull buoys and fins. The butterfly will be introduced. This is a great introduction to competitive swimming. Goggles are highly recommended.
