PopularMusical Theater Intensive: "Beauty and the Beast Jr." Ages 8-17Creative Arts & TheaterIn a condensed version of the classic Disney story, we will showcase favorite characters and songs in a way that is perfect for young performers. We will create a production that enchants our audience while we develop theater skills such as acting, singing and choreography. Although we welcome young actors of all skill levels and abilities, this course is best suited for those who have previous acting or singing experience, as putting together a show in three weeks is very fun but learning the material moves very quickly. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes. Bring a water bottle and a snack if needed. Students will be asked to provide black pants, black shoes and a black t-shirt or tank-top to be worn under their costume during the performance and dress rehearsal. Performances will be on Friday, July 1 at 3pm and 7pm.Spr/Sum 2022 (Apr-Aug)
