  • Yoga - Slow Flow

    Increase your flexibility and strengthen your core through yoga movements and breathing to encourage the integration of body, mind and spirit. This class is designed for students with some prior experience in yoga. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. You will be provided with a link prior to class.
  • Pickleball Club - Adult Co-ed

    Players of all experience levels are invited to join the club! Players rotate in and out of games to ensure everyone has the opportunity to play. Individual players are welcome to participate in pick-up games. Bring your own paddle or borrow one of ours. Players should wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes and bring a bottle of water. Pre-registration is required. No refunds will be given if cancelations occur less than two days prior. Registration closes at 4pm each Wednesday.
  • Soccer - Adult Indoor Co-ed

    Join us for indoor soccer (Futsal). What is Futsal? Futsal offers fast-paced, action-packed games in a gymnasium with a smaller ball. Games will be organized by the volunteer game coordinator. Substitutes will rotate in from the sideline so everyone gets a chance to play. Whether you're experienced or new to soccer, we welcome everyone. Join us for exhilarating match-ups and opportunities to grow as a player and a member of our dynamic soccer-loving community.
  • Knitting - Double Knitting

    In this class, you'll learn how to create a reversible, double-thick item by knitting both sides simultaneously. The final result will be a pattern that has no right or wrong side and the colors will be reversed. Must be proficient in knitting and purling. Please bring two different colors of worsted weight (#4) yarn and knitting needles in a size you are comfortable knitting with.
  • Hand Knit Chunky Blanket

    Join us for a fun, no-experience-needed class where you’ll hand-knit your very own soft chunky blanket —no needles required! All supplies are provided including yarn in a variety of colors. You’ll leave with a completed blanket approximately 40x50 inches. Due to materials being prepared in advance, there are no refunds after noon on the day of class.

    Create beautiful cookies for any holiday or special occasion! Under the guidance of a professional baker, you will learn the techniques and steps to make perfectly iced cookies. All of the supplies are provided to decorate six unique cookies - just bring a smile (and maybe an apron!) Registration closes on Friday afternoon before each class. No refunds will be given after registration closes due to materials being prepared.

    The trust is a very popular component used in Estate Planning. However, there are a variety of different Trust options and the question arises: “Am I using the right Trust for my needs and goals?” Often used Trusts include: Living Trusts, Testamentary Trusts and Irrevocable Trusts; each serves a different purpose, each has a different result. We will clearly define the strengths and weaknesses of different types of Trusts and when to use them.
  • Stained Glass Suncatchers

    Here’s your chance to learn to make stained glass and go home with a couple creations to decorate your windows. Choose from the patterns and glass provided to create 2-4 small glass suncatchers. Learn all the steps of cutting a pattern, scoring and breaking glass, grinding, foiling and soldering. All tools and glass will be provided. Supply fee of $20 is payable to the instructor at class. Please wear shirts with a crew neck and hard finish like denim or t-shirt material; chips of glass will stick in sweaters or fleece. Most of the glass chips will end up by your feet so wear shoes with a closed toe and a hard sole (no Crocs). There won't be time to leave to get lunch so bring snacks to get you through the Saturday class.

    Do you want to create magic with a hook and yarn? If you have never picked up a crochet hook before or need a refresher on crochet basics then this is the class for you. You will learn basic stitches, how to read patterns and much more! Soon you will be on your way to creating hand-made gifts for family and friends just in time for holiday giving!   • Volleyball League - Adult Co-ed

    Register now for this fun, competitive, co-ed league for adults! Teams will play with six players on the court (up to three of whom can be men) and will compete for the Community Education Adult Volleyball League Championship! Although this league is fairly competitive, recreational teams are welcome. The team that wins the championship will receive free team registration for the next season. Each team should supply their own volleyball. Win/loss record will be tracked for standings and playoff seeding. The playoff format will be determined by the number of teams and final schedule.   • Holiday Lights Tour

    Join us for an evening of holiday lights and decorations as we drive around admiring the holiday decorations in the Forest Lake area. Of course, no holiday event would be complete without hot chocolate and cookies to keep us warm! For those providing their own transportation, we will meet you at the Education Center cafeteria at 6:00 pm - 943 9th Ave SW, Forest Lake, enter door #4 on the east side of the building. At 8pm, we will bring you back to the Education Center, door #4. Registration deadline is Tuesday, December 3 (one week prior) due to the bus reservation.
  • Painting - Acrylic

    Connect with your creative side and join us for our no-experience-required art class. Jeremy Ross from Your Bearded Artist, will guide you through creating a 16x20" acrylic on canvas. Each session will feature a different painting. All supplies are included. Due to materials being prepared in advance, there are no refunds after noon on the day of class.
  • Alcohol Ink - Glitter Ornaments

    Do you want to make gorgeous, one-of-a-kind ornaments for your yourself or as an incredible gift? After prepping the ornaments, you'll learn various processes of working with alcohol ink. Choose colors of your choice to create four unique ornaments; follow a color scheme or each ornament can be completely different. The ornaments are painted on the inside so the colors will last forever. There is a $20 supply fee payable to the instructor at class. Additional ornaments can be made for a fee of $4 per ornament.

  • Mackinac Island

    Monday-Friday, May 18-22, 2026 Adults - 21 and over Monday we'll leave around 6:45 am, a couple of rest stops are included, with a boat ride for lunch. Overnight will be in Ludington, MI. Tuesday we'll travel to Mackinaw City to take the ferry to Mackinac Island. We'll stay on the island at the Lakeview Hotel. We'll continue on the island on Wednesday with a horse drawn carriage ride, then have time on your own to explore. Lunch is included at the Grand Hotel. Thursday morning we'll depart the island and head for St. Ignace, lunch is included with an overnight in Green Bay at the Oneida Casino. Friday we'll tour Lambeau before having lunch.
