The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
The Rangers Supporting Rangers School Supply Backpack Program assists families currently enrolled in the Forest Lake Area School district who have a financial need by providing backpacks with school supplies to their students.
Rangers Supporting Rangers is currently accepting registrations from families with student(s) that are currently enrolled in Forest Lake Area Schools for the 2026-2027 school year.
Backpacks with supplies will be available at the school's Open House in August.
This program is entirely funded by grants and private donations.
