The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Middle School Track & Field introduces students to the events and expectations of high school track and field. Athletes will develop skills in sprints, distance running, hurdles, jumps, and throws, and are encouraged to choose up to three events.
Practices and most meets are held at Forest Lake Area Middle School (FLAMS), with some meets at other local middle schools. Transportation to away meets is typically provided and returns to FLAMS, though families may occasionally need to transport due to bus availability. Families are responsible for transportation home from FLAMS. Rain-day practices will be held in FLAMS Gym D.
Season dates are finalized once the league schedule is set and may shift by up to one week. A Track & Field top will be provided for meets.
