The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
As the seasons shift, our bodies benefit from herbs that support movement, clarity and gentle detoxification. Learn the uses for spring tonics, digestive bitters and herbs that help activate circulation, liver function and lymph flow. We’ll cover practical ways to use herbs at home—through teas, tinctures and food-based remedies—to help shake off winter sluggishness and support overall wellness. You’ll leave with recipes, samples and a clear understanding of how to use spring herbs to feel more energized and aligned with the season. All supplies are included.
Angela Michaud is a Master Herbalist with over 1,700 hours of education and hands-on experience. She is the founder of Rootstock Herbals, a heart-centered business rooted in accessibility, education, and seasonal wellness. Angela offers herbal consultations, creates small-batch botanical products, and leads transformative retreats and classes across Minnesota.
