The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Prerequisite: Level 6
The objectives of Level 7 are to refine the strokes (front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke and sidestroke) so participants swim these strokes with efficiency and power over greater distances. This will be achieved through workouts, turns, use of pace clocks, pull buoys and fins. The butterfly will be introduced. This is a great introduction to competitive swimming.
Goggles are highly recommended.
