The Early Childhood Programs are an integral part of Forest Lake Area Schools (FLAS). We work together to assure that children transition smoothly into kindergarten.
The program offers before and after school childcare, non-school days (NSD) and summer childcare. Fees are listed in the current fee schedule online. The program opens at 6am and closes at 6pm.
Girls are invited to join us as we move our bodies, gain confidence, build relationships and prepare to run a non-competitive 5k with Girls on the Run participants from across the State this fall. No experience necessary - girls can run, walk, skip, roll or push - just as long as they are moving forward.
Each practice begins with a healthy snack (provided) followed by the topic of the day such as choosing friends or communicating emotions. After running, there is time to stretch, cool down and celebrate our accomplishments. Girls are encouraged to focus on moving forward at their own “happy pace.”
Every participant will be invited to run in the Girls on the Run 5k at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on Sat, Nov 8.
