A Zany Zoom "Beat the Winter Blues" Party!
Please join Mark & Lori Hurley (aka "Mixed Nuts") with A Touch of Magic Entertainment in a live, virtual event, just for you! With their special blend of interactive comedy, general silliness (and just a touch of magic), "Beat the Winter Blues" is an event you won't want to miss! You may even receive a shout-out during the show! After Mark & Lori's lively 30 minute show, we'll play a few games virtually too. Paint Night
Embrace your inner artist! Our Community Education Painting Instructor, Tree Croyle Johnson, will lead us as we follow her instruction and each paint our own 16x20 canvas Jellyfish Masterpiece! All skill levels and abilities are welcome to explore their creativity in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The paint can stain your clothes - please dress accordingly. A $5 supply fee is due to the instructor the evening of class -
Mammoth Site
Travel back in time to the most recent Ice Age to virtually explore the sinkhole in South Dakota where Columbian and woolly mammoths, camels, wolves and giant, short-faced bears became trapped, leaving this ancient trove of fossil remains. This location is called The Mammoth Site. Excavation, research and education continues there daily. Besides discussion of this ancient bonebed, the presentation will also include photos and discussion of the Ice Age Exhibit Hall as well as the Snake River Fossil site that is located in Minnesota. This is a live online presentation led by a Mammoth Site Educator. This class will include friends from many districts around the state and will be offered virtually. The registration deadline is Monday, April 26th. -
Underwater Celebration
Let's have a tropical evening to celebrate the coming of summer and our year together! We'll do some relaxing, playing water games and have a tropical time together. Up on the shore they work all day, out in the sun they work away. While we devotin', full time to floatin' under the sea... Registration deadline is Tuesday, May 4. -
