  • Baseball/Softball League Age 4 - Grade 6

    Please note: This is the waiting list for baseball, t-ball, and softball. Once registered, if there is a spot available on your preferred team, you will be automatically enrolled and moved to the correct course where you will then receive a confirmation email. If there is a spot available on a different team for your student's grade/age, you will be contacted. If there is no spot available, you be removed and refunded on May 13th. If you would like to be removed and refunded before May 13th, please contact ksuloff@flaschools.org or 651-982-8392. If your child is 4 years old and you need help registering, please contact our office for assistance. Baseball schedule includes one practice night AND one game night per week. T-Ball/Softball: Age 4 through Kindergarten. Games on Tuesdays. 1st Grade: Modified Coach Pitch. Set number of pitches by the coach to put the ball in play, if that pitch amount is exceeded, there will be an opportunity to put the ball in play off of a tee. Games on Thursdays. 2nd Grade: Set number of pitches by the coach to put the ball in play. Games on Thursdays. 1st/2nd Grade Softball: Games on Thursdays 3rd/4th Grade: Player pitch, age appropriate rules will be followed. Games on Thursdays. 5th/6th Grade: Player pitch, age appropriate rules will be followed. Games on Tuesdays. We monitor our numbers daily and will accept as many participants as possible. We add students in order of registration and your child must be on the waiting list before placing them onto a team. You will be contacted if there is a spot open on any team within your child's age/grade.   • Sponsor a Trainee at Ranger Space Camp

    Sponsor a Ranger Space Camp Trainee! Students who have been selected through an application process will participate in monthly Science Saturdays (November - May) to learn about space, participate in science lessons and work on growing together as a team. During this time, parents will work on planning and implementing fundraising efforts to cover the costs associated with Space Camp. We do not want the cost of the program to prevent any interested child from participating. Our motto is: We all go or no one goes. The work will culminate in the students and chaperones attending Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama in May 2024. Donations and sponsorships are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors and sponsors will receive a letter from the Forest Lake Area School Board confirming their donation. We're using our online registration program as the platform to collect donations.     Flag Football League will focus on skills such as passing, catching, ball handling and learning game positions. For an example of game schedules from previous years, click here. In addition to the game nights, a weekly practice will be planned and communicated by the volunteer coach after the coaches meeting. Practices can be held on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Games will be played on Tuesdays at the FL Sportscenter and start at 5:30pm or 6:30pm. Students must be registered by their current grade, no exceptions. All participants will receive a game t-shirt if registered by the deadline. Please indicate your student’s t-shirt size when registering. Volunteer coaches are needed! Open to all levels of experience, this program is dependent on volunteer coaches so please click here for more information on coaching.   • Rangers Supporting Rangers School Supply Backpack Program

    The Rangers Supporting Rangers School Supply Backpack Program assists families currently enrolled in the Forest Lake Area School district who have a financial need by providing backpacks and school supplies to their students. Rangers Supporting Rangers is currently accepting registrations from families with student(s) attending Forest Lake Area Schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Backpacks and supplies will be available at the school your student attends in August. Please watch for an email from your school for pickup/distribution information. This program is entirely funded by grants and private donations.   • Basketball - March Madness Ages 5-8

    March Madness is here! Take your skills to the next level in this fun, fast-paced session of March Madness Basketball. Fundamentals and fun are in store. Emphasis is placed on developing the basic skills of dribbling, shooting, passing, sportsmanship and teamwork. We use engaging and dynamic games to support students’ growth including our unique three-on-three style game. This is a high-octane class with an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Ice Skating Show

    Skaters of all levels are encouraged to sign up for our annual Ice Skating Show. Skaters will perform during our ice skating show which will be at 7pm on Saturday, May 18th and 1pm Sunday, May 19. Students will have assigned times to perform during the show. Show practices run adjacent to group lessons which means you can sign up for both group lessons and the ice show. Please make sure that you do not pick conflicting times. There is a discount if you register for both in the same session, please see below for more details. Only Skaters in Freestyle are eligible to register for solos. The senior program is for skaters who are graduating high school this year. Deadline to register for the Ice Skating Show is March 1. Ice Skating Show participants receive a discount on the Ice Skating Show sessions when registering for both skating lessons (April section) and the show. The Ice Skating Show session discount is $29 off for skaters in Tots though Delta who are registered during the Winter Catalog.   • Archery - Intro Ages 8-15

    Bullseye! Are you looking to try something new or want to enhance your archery skills? Following the National Archery in the Schools Program curriculum, you will learn about all the parts of the bow and arrow, shooting techniques and enhance your skills as a shooter. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Shoot straight, have fun and remember - safety first! The registration fee will be refunded after the second session if children are not strong enough to achieve full draw of the bow.
  • Archery - Advanced Ages 10-15

    If you’ve completed the Archery - Intro class and learned about the parts of the bow and arrow, you can continue honing your techniques and skills as a shooter. We will continue to follow the National Archery in the Schools Program curriculum. Safety always comes first but having fun is required.
  • Warrior Within - Girls Empowerment Grades 1-6

    We are all seeking connection, a sense of belonging and to feel accepted in a world where at times we feel alone and afraid. Warriors will be guided on a journey of self-love, self-care and self-acceptance through dance, song, empowering books, group discussions, activities and crafts. The positive growth mindset approach will help build and maintain life’s biggest challenges such as confidence, courage, friendships, relationships and conflict. Warriors will put on a small presentation for their family and friends on the last night of class.

  • Track & Field Decathlon Ages 6-10

    Javelin, discus, shot put, long jump, relay race, hurdles and much more. This high-octane decathlon class is designed for beginners and experienced track and field athletes. Safety is our first priority. We use foam padded javelins and hurdles as well as lightweight safety shot put and discus materials. Get pumped and primed to get your face on the next Wheaties® box.
  • Track & Field Grades 3-6

    Students will have the opportunity to try out different track and field events and then choose the ones they enjoy the most to showcase their skills in a special track and field meet! The fee includes a t-shirt, coaching and the track meet. The meet will be held on Monday, May 20 from 4pm to approximately 7:30pm at the Forest Lake Area High School track. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the meet. No refunds will be given for weather related cancellations. No rain date is available. Registration by 3:30pm on the second day of class (Wednesday, May 1) is required in order to receive a t-shirt. *4660-SP24G is for St. Peter's and practices will be held at Forest Lake Elementary.
  • Junior Engineering/STEM Club Ages 5-8

    Calling new and returning students! The Engineering For Kids Jr. STEM Club introduces students to a new, hands-on lesson every week from various engineering disciplines. Students focus on developing skills such as problem solving, critical thinking and peer collaboration. These life skills provide students with the confidence to approach challenges in their lives and realize that they can succeed in almost anything! Engineering for Kids has a library of 300+ individual lessons which continues to grow so we never have to repeat lessons.
  • Private/Semi-Private Swim Lessons Ages 4-15

    Private/Semi-Private swim lessons are offered at various times and dates. Please call (651) 982-8110 if you have registration questions. Private Swim Lessons Learn to swim in a class customized just for you. When registering please select the Private Swim Lesson Fee. Semi-Private Swim Lessons Learn to swim with a friend or sibling. Both students should be at the same skill level. When registering for semi-private lessons you must register both students at the same time. Please select the Semi-Private Lesson Fee for each student.
