    Little Kickers is a great introduction to soccer. This fun training program for boys and girls will work on individual skills based on age and small team play. For an example of the daily schedule from previous years, click here. All dates will take place behind Columbus Elementary School. Students will be assigned to a field each week where they will practice for the first half and then break down to play a game versus another team for the last half of the day.   • Middle School Boys Soccer Grades 7-8

    1541-SU24A: entering grade 7 1541-SU24B: entering grade 8 Middle school soccer is an introduction to what students will experience at the high school soccer level. Advanced skills such as dribbling, trapping, passing and receiving will be the focus. Games will be played against other local middle school teams. Practices and games will be played at Forest Lake Area Middle School (FLAMS) unless away at an opponent's location. Transportation to the away games is provided and will return to FLAMS. Families must provide transportation home from FLAMS after practices and games. Rain day practices will be held in FLAMS Gym D. All Middle Schools Sports dates are finalized once the league schedule has been received. The projected start date can be adjusted up to one week before or after due to this. You will receive more information from our office a month prior to the tentative start date. Game uniforms will be provided. Important dates and times: Mon-Thu 2:30-4:30pm.     Join us for indoor soccer (Futsal). What is Futsal? Futsal offers fast-paced, action-packed games in a gymnasium with a smaller ball. 6 on 6 games will be organized by the volunteer game coordinator. Substitutes will rotate in from the sideline so everyone gets a chance to play. Whether you're experienced or new to soccer, we welcome everyone.     Ultimate Frisbee Ages 6-12

    Combining the non-stop movement of soccer with the passing skills of football, a game of Ultimate Frisbee is played with a high-tech plastic disc on a field similar to football. This camp provides skill development with an emphasis on FUN! Students will learn skills and play small group games with the focus on learning the rules and working on team play and sportsmanship. Participants should wear athletic shoes and bring a water bottle.
  • Rangers Multi-Sports Camp Ages 6-12

    This multi-sport camp is an introduction to a variety of sports as well as other fun yard games throughout the week including but not limited to flag football, basketball, baseball and soccer. Days are divided into focused sport play, free play, lunch/break time and multi-sport games. The camp is held at the Forest Lake Area Middle School and led by Forest Lake Area Schools Staff as well as college student athletes that are Forest Lake and other local high school Alumni. Each week there will be different activities and games taking place so students can sign up for multiple sessions and have a new experience each week! Participants should wear sport appropriate clothing and shoes, bring two nut/peanut free snacks, sunscreen and a bottle of water every day. Students that are attending all day will need to have a packed lunch as well as the above mentioned snacks.
