    Early Childhood Programs

    Welcome to Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) If you are new to the area or to the world of young children, you will find many opportunities to meet other parents and engage with your children in age appropriate activities. We serve families with young children from birth to their first day of kindergarten. Opportunities range from one time events to Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) parent/child classes that meet every week through out the school year. We know that being a parent is a huge job and our staff is here to offer you information, support and resources as you make choices for your family. Development and learning in the first years of a child’s life are key factors for success in school and beyond. The Early Childhood Programs provide a welcoming and enriching environment for families with children from birth to five years of age. We know that parents are their child's first and most important teachers. The goal of ECFE is to support parents in their child-raising role and provide children with opportunities to discover and learn. The age of the child attending the class must be the appropriate age by September 1st.

  • Little Rangers Preschool Full Day

    Full Day Preschool: Full Day Preschool is offered at seven elementary locations throughout the district for four and five-year-old children. Since the Full Day program does not receive any state funding, the program relies on parent fees to offer high-quality programming for our students. Little Rangers Preschools is a program for students to explore and learn through play-based curriculum and social-emotional teaching. For more information on Little Rangers Preschool visit Early Childhood preschool 2024-2025 Registration Details: Once you complete the online registration in Eleyo you will be put on a "pending approval status" in the order the registration is received until Early Childhood Programs staff can review it, and enough registrations are received to run the class. Your credit card will not be charged for the registration fee until your child is confirmed in the program. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged. Following your accepted contract, you will receive an email to set up a ParentVue account, where you will complete the registrations process, including attaching required forms. Required Forms: A list of all required forms can be found online at www.flaschools.org/ecforms and are due before your child may start preschool. 2023-2024 Registration Details: Once you complete the online registration you will be put on a "pending approval status" in the order the registration is received until Early Childhood Programs staff can review it, and enough registrations are received to run the class.     Half Day Preschool: Half Day Preschool is offered at six locations throughout the district for three, four and five-year-old children.   • SAC & Sonic

    Season Registration Deadlines: School Year deadline is August 1 Summer deadline is May 1 Completed registrations will be put on a "pending approval status" in the order the registration is received until Community Education staff can review it, all required paperwork is completed and adequate staff is available. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged the registration fee. We begin accepting summer registrations in April and school year registrations in July. Registrations received after the season deadline may not be able to start the first week of care and you will be notified when an opening becomes available. School Age Care - Grades K-3 SAC is a before and after school childcare program where your child will engage in a variety of fun, enriching opportunities in a safe and caring environment. Before and after preschool childcare for Little Rangers preschool is offered only on days that Little Rangers preschool is in session.
