Skating Lessons Alpha 5

Youth Elementary Grade K-6 / Athletics & Recreation -
Winter 2022 - Jan-Apr

For skaters that have mastered the skills taught in Pre-Alpha, keep learning with Alpha! Skaters must demonstrate 6 forward crossovers in a row with no toe-pushes in both a clockwise and counterclockwise direction. To pass the stroking element skaters must complete 6 strides from a stand still. Skaters must start with appropriate speed and come to a complete stop using only one foot for the snowplow stop.

Our skater to coach ratio is 12 to 1 per class. Skaters are evaluated regularly and when the Skating Director feels a skater has mastered all of the skills in their level, they will be moved up to the next level/class.

Skaters must provide their own skates.
